What is GBTA?

La Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) is the leading global organization dedicated to the business travel and conference industry.

What is the GBTA LATAM Conference about?

The GBTA LATAM Conference will offer a global vision with local issues that directly impact the Latin American region. Key topics related to corporate travel in Latin America will be addressed, such as:

  • Trends in corporate travel management and digital tools adapted to the region.

  • Negotiation strategies with local suppliers to obtain better rates.

  • Safety and well-being of the corporate traveler in the Latin American context.

  • Sustainability in business travel within the region.

  • Cost optimization in corporate travel in local markets.

What are the dates and times of the event?

The GBTA LATAM Conference will be held from September 24th to 25th. At the Hilton Reforma Mexico City Hotel.

What is the cost of the event?

  • GBTA members always get the best registration rate. If you are not yet a member, Come here!
  • The cost varies according to your role and objectives in the company. If you are a Travel Manager or supplier, the price is different. Check the details on the registration o contáctanos to receive rapid assistance.

Registration phases:

  • Early Bird: April 15 - 15 de mayo.
  • Regular: May 16th - August 31st
  • Last step: September 1st - 22nd

What does my registration include?

Your registration includes access to all Conference activities, such as the Center Stage, educational sessions and the trade show, toas well as the courtesy of all food and drink within the program of plenary sessions and exhibition hours.

Can I cancel my registration and get a refund?

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event are charged by 50%; there are no refunds after this period.
  • Substitutions are allowed up to 45 days before the event with a charge of $95. 

Can I register groups?

No, it is not currently possible to automatically register for a group.

Attendees must enter their information individually.

What does it mean to be a Buyer Member and an Allied Member?

Buyer member:  Buyers of business travel services for other employees of your company, or those who administer travel policies for your company or those who plan and/or control meetings for your company. University or college employees, federal or state government, or a non-profit organization that manages business travel services / systems for employees.

Allied Member: Corporate travel providers, technology providers, travel service providers, payment platforms, consulting firms, financial analysts and other professionals affiliated with the travel sector who provide goods and services to our members (buyer) Direct.

How can I network with other attendees?

GBTA promotes networking throughout the event, with spaces designed to connect with other professionals. In addition, we recommend using the mobile app: you can send direct messages to other attendees, review their profiles and schedule meetings. Extra tip: keep your profile up to date, smile and don't hesitate to take the first step. You never know where a great collaboration can begin!

Where can I collect my gaffe?

In the foyer of the Conference you will find the registration desk, where you can collect your ticket by presenting your confirmation mail. We will have staff on site to assist you at all times.

I have a registration code, how do I sign up?

Choose the category that best describes you in the registration options, then you can enter your code during the registration process.

Is there an app for the event?

Yes, we have an app that enhances your experience during the event. From it you can consult the agenda, get to know the speakers and exhibitors, receive notifications in real time and access the directory of attendees, with the option of sending direct messages to facilitate more effective networking.

I'm in the press, can I attend the event?

The press has access by courtesy, however, it is essential to have prior confirmation from GBTA. Access to media that has not been validated by our team will not be permitted. We would also be grateful if you could share your notes, articles or materials with us once the event is over. gbtamexico@gbta.org as part of the roof.

I'm an exhibitor, what are the assembly, exhibition and dismantling times?

As an exhibitor, you will receive a dedicated document including information on timetables, regulations and other matters of interest.

How do I get a quote from an exhibitor?

The GBTA LATAM Conference has the ability to schedule appointments with exhibitors to ensure precise attention and thus make the most of your time at the Conference.

You can do this using the event's APP, which will be available shortly.

What is the dress code?

You were comfortable, the GBTA Conference offers a professional and pleasant atmosphere, Business Casual is recommended.

What are GBTA's social networks in Latin America?

Where can I see the photos taken during the event?

This year we have incorporated facial recognition technology that will allow you to easily find all your photos and keep a beautiful memory of the event.

During the day you will receive more information, and you will find signposts in the venue and in the app to access your images quickly and comfortably. Dream and create memories, since we will have photographers who will capture every moment!
